A lot has happened in the last few months, meaning I've had to put my business on the back burner for a while. I have lots of ideas, many inspired by recent months and am looking forward to starting up again. The first update to share with you is that I got married this year! So if you've noticed my name change from Gatehouse to Goddard, that would be why. My husband and I tied the knot on 20th July 2024 and are still trying to organise the flat after he moved in. We are hoping that by the end of the month, I should have my crafting space back and be able to offer more bespoke creations once again. This time of year, Christmas ornaments are already on my mind and I have a few new exciting things planned... Our wedding was extremely bespoke, as we worked together to put as many personal details into the day as we could. Those personal touches included handmade invitations, table centrepieces, decoupaged decorations and designing my own bouquet charms! I decided not to blog during the wedding planning process as I had more than enough to juggle, but I'm considering a few wedding posts here to share helpful tips and experiences with upcoming brides-to-be -- do you think I should? I will also be creating some wedding-related items and services to sell through the shop, starting with the same kind of things that I made for my own wedding. At present, I don't have a date for these new changes, but the store remains open for sales of my existing stock. Don't forget to follow Fairy Cove Curiosities on Social Media to keep up to date with those products as they release. Stay magical, Natalie-Jane
